2 years. next week will mark our 2 year anniversary of becoming a family of three. congratulations to us! woohoo!!!!!
8.5 months. we have been waiting for our referral for almost 9 months. recent updates from our adoption agency have informed us that our wait time for a referral is unpredictable and much longer than initial projections. but we will be waiting AT LEAST 14 months and probably more. based on the very slow rate of referrals since we started this process, we are anticipating a wait of 24+ months. so, its gonna be a while folks. . . this is not exactly what we had planned. but we can handle it. we can wait.
in the meantime, we are off on an adventure to bangkok next week!!!!! i plan on eating som tam, lots of dragonfruit, and plenty of street meat on a stick.
