tonight is new year's eve in Ethiopia! tomorrow it will be 2004! i was thinking back to 2004 here in the US. it was a really good year. i finished my master's at virginia tech. we traveled to Burma (Myanmar) for a month. i got engaged on the Irrawaddy River (on a very VERY slow moving river boat which allowed for lots of time for me to finally ask the boy and then still had lots of time to celebrate via tiger beer ). and then we loaded up our little honda and moved to Oregon where i started my phd.
Hi! It's Kyra from www.agnostic-adoption.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI just got your comment - thanks for following! It's been great to meet other people who are not "called" to adopt. Good luck with your wait. It must be very different the second time around, with the two-trip rule, the slow-down and all that. But I do think it's all with the kids' best interests in mind.
